Agreed @Psofo PS+ does indeed feel like a second class citizen version of games. PS+ is not free so no need to think people should be grateful for "freebies". I would rather pay for just an online component only rather than get treated like a second class citizen by the likes of greedfall. I literally only use ps+ for online gaming but even I feel offended by this situation.
@Jessica2K I tried it on ps now, think I managed about 40 minutes before deleting it, lucky really as I had been tempted before with it on sale but never bought it. Don't think I would try the ps5 version if it was free.
More importantly, I think there's a fundamental flaw with the PlayStation store that needs looking in to. These psplus offerings not qualifying for free ps5 upgrades is becoming a norm. We need to remind ourselves we're still paying for access to these games. None of these games are free, but part of a subscription. So not being able to have access to Ps5 upgrades for control, final fantasy, borderlands, ect because they're part of an on going subscription service isn't us 'winning' no matter how some may try and defend it under the excuse we're being too entitled. But what else is a problem is the flip side of that. Getting a game via a plus subscription ties it to your account that you 'own' said game...meaning you also now no longer qualify to purchase it when it's on sale as Sony believed you already have it and lists it unavailable. This needs looking into when they want us to 'own' the same product multiple times.
